Frequently asked questions

The extension icon doesn't appear in my toolbar.

Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, find FullPageSnap, and click the pin icon to keep it visible.

Full-page capture cuts off or stitches incorrectly.

Pages with fixed/sticky headers or infinite scroll can cause stitching gaps. Try scrolling the page manually once before capturing, or use Tab mode for a single-viewport shot.

The editor tab doesn't open after capturing.

Chrome may have blocked the new tab. Check your browser's popup blocker settings and allow popups from the extension, or click the extension icon and select "Open editor".

Blur tool isn't working on some areas.

The blur tool samples the background canvas only — it won't blur other annotations you've already drawn. Apply blur before adding arrows or text on top.

My annotations disappeared after refreshing.

The editor state is session-only and not persisted. Download or copy your screenshot before closing the editor tab.

Does FullPageSnap work on Chrome Web Store pages or browser internal pages?

Chrome restricts extensions from running on chrome:// pages, the Web Store, and a handful of protected domains. This is a Chrome security policy and cannot be changed.

Is there a limit to how long a full-page screenshot can be?

Very long pages (15,000 px+) can approach browser canvas memory limits. If a capture fails, try zooming out to 75% before capturing to reduce the pixel count.

Can I use FullPageSnap offline?

Yes — the extension is fully offline after install. No network requests are made at any point.

Still need help?

Send a message with your Chrome version, a description of the issue, and any steps to reproduce it. Screenshots or screen recordings are always helpful.
